THE HIPPODROME, COLCHESTER: This was a state of the art disco and live music
installation in an old music-hall venue. Turbosound TSE/TSW series and JBL control series
loudspeakers, Crest amplification, Soundcraft mixers, Klark-Teknik, BSS and Toa control equipment.
The installation had to be carried out under the strict conservation design brief of English Heritage.
Winner: Club sound design 1988.
Winner: New Venue of the year, eastern area.
