Electracoustic is a small professional audio company offering a high level of personal service. Company director is Jonathan (Jon) Trotter. Electracoustic has installed many sound systems ranging from large nightclubs to small bars and restaurants. Jon has mixed live music shows in many venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Astoria Theatre and Claridges as well as at festivals abroad. We have a particular knowledge and experience of both Funktion One and Turbosound loudspeaker systems. Jon has also many years experience in digital audio editing particularly of speech based material for language courses. Jon also produces and records original music compositions for both commercial and artistic ends. These include soundtracks for theatre shows including the West End production of 'The Sensualist' based on the novel Bel Ami by Guy de Maupassant; 'The Wild Ass's Skin' at the Bridewell Theatre from the novel by Honore de Balzac and 'The Cabinet of Dr Caligari' a theatrical adaptation of the surrealist horror classic.

Jonathan is also co-director of AT Audio Ltd with Martin Astle which specialises in location recording of classical music, big bands, military brass bands and film scores. Clients include ITN, Plantagenet Records and BBC Wales and projects include recording Dan Jones' orchestral film score for 'The Shadow of the Vampire' starring John Malkovic and Willem Dafoe. AT Audio also supplies and installs complete recording studio systems including all the educational studios at Royal Holloway Music Department, University of London.
