Electracoustic was formed in 1991 to provide a professional sound system installation service for nightclubs, live music venues, bars, restaurants and other commercial enterprises

Company Director is Jonathan (Jon) Trotter who has many years of experience in sound system installations, audio editing, recording and music production

Jon has installed
sound system in a huge range of venues from world renowned nightclubs, cricket
grounds and hotels to small bars, restaurants and function rooms. Jon has mixed
live music shows in many venues including
the Royal Albert Hall, the Astoria Theatre and Claridges as well as at festivals
abroad. Jon has also many years experience in digital audio editing
particularly of speech based material for language courses. Jon also produces
and records
original music compositions for both commercial and artistic ends. These include
soundtracks for theatre shows including the West End production of 'The Sensualist'
based on the novel Bel Ami by Guy de Maupassant; 'The Wild Ass's Skin' at the
Bridewell Theatre from the novel by Honore de Balzac and 'The Cabinet of Dr
Caligari' a theatrical adaptation of the surrealist horror classic.
Jon is a co-director
of AT Audio
Ltd, with Martin Astle,
which
specialises in location recording of classical music, big bands, military brass
bands and film scores. Clients include ITN, Plantagenet Records and BBC Wales
and projects include recording Dan Jones' orchestral film score for 'The Shadow
of the Vampire' starring John Malkovic and Willem Dafoe. AT Audio also supplies
and installs complete recording studio systems including all the educational
studios
at Royal Holloway Music Department, University of London.
